Our teacher read aloud every Friday. I usually drew at the same time, but this time I stopped drawing.
”The girl in the book was scared too. That made it less embarrassing.”
It was about a girl who was afraid of the dark, just like me. I borrowed the book and read it four times.
Now I sleep without the light. Mum says it is the book. I say it is me.
